The Okefenokee Development Authority’s mission is to nurture and recruit industries to improve the quality of life by economic growth for the citizens of Charlton County.
Purpose
Our purpose is to work with existing and prospective businesses who are considering Charlton County as their location for growing and creating jobs. We provide them with the information they need to see why Charlton County is a strategic location due to its business friendly environment, available land, natural resources, excellent infrastructure, a strong workforce, state and local incentives, and two Class I railroads.
